What PRP is
Platelet-rich plasma uses a concentrated portion of your own blood, prepared after a blood draw, and placed at the area being treated under appropriate guidance. Platelets contain signaling proteins that may support the local healing environment. PRP is not a steroid, and outcomes vary with the diagnosis, tissue condition, and rehabilitation plan.

Can PRP repair a torn rotator cuff?
PRP cannot be represented as a guaranteed repair. It may be considered in selected cases, but the diagnosis, tear severity, function, and alternatives matter. We will recommend orthopedic evaluation when appropriate.
How quickly will my shoulder feel better?
Some patients notice changes gradually over weeks, while others do not improve. Timing and degree of benefit vary, and rehabilitation may be part of the plan.
